Early Mornings and Happy Customers A Day in HVAC Service
5:30 AM – Rise and Shine
As a service technician at Bruton Comfort Control, my day starts before the sun rises. After a quick energizing breakfast, I check my tablet for the day’s service calls throughout the Beaverton and Tigard areas.
7:00 AM – First Call of the Day
My first stop is in Tualatin, where a customer reported their heating system making unusual noises. With our fully-stocked service van, I’m prepared for almost any HVAC challenge that comes my way.
Key Parts of My Day:
- System diagnostics and repairs
- Preventive maintenance checks
- Filter replacements
- Customer education on system operation
- Emergency service calls
Midday
Lunchtime usually finds me between Hillsboro and Aloha. The beautiful Pacific Northwest weather can change quickly, so we’re always ready to respond to urgent heating or cooling needs.
Afternoon Rush
The afternoon typically involves multiple service calls. Whether it’s helping a family restore their comfort during a summer heat wave or ensuring a business’s heating system is running efficiently for the upcoming winter, each call is an opportunity to demonstrate our commitment to quality service.
5:00 PM – Wrapping Up
Before heading home, I ensure all paperwork is complete and my van is restocked for tomorrow’s calls. The satisfaction of knowing I’ve helped maintain comfortable environments for our local community makes every early morning worth it.
Remember, in the HVAC industry, no two days are exactly alike, but our commitment to providing excellent service throughout the Portland metro area remains constant.
